Subject:Shannons in Northern MO


My family has a presence in the Boonville MO area from around 1830 or so. See the family tree posted on this site for Zachariah Shannon.

As far as tracing roots back to Ireland that is more of a challenge since, in my case, many of the records that might help that research were destroyed during the war of 1812. DNA is helping fill in some of the gaps
